Date: 24 March 2008

Location: Tapapakanga Regional Park

Chinese New Year Celebration at Malaysia Nonya Restaurant

The recent Chinese New Year Celebration at Malaysia Nonya Restaurant was a great success with the whole restaurant being booked up by us. The food was good and the company was excellent.  The members and non members enjoyed themselves and  after the dinner, it was followed by a session of kaoroke singing.  The Singapore Club subsidized approximately $800 for the evening towards the members who paid below cost.  The children even got Ang Pow !!

We hope that more Singaporeans join and benefit from the many events arranged and planned by the club for the enjoyment and fellowship of all Singaporeans in Auckland. Many events are heavily subsidized to ensure that we keep costs as low as possible. The next 2 months will be  a good time for many Singaporeans and friends to renew their membership.

We welcome anyone who wishes to help out in the Singapore club. All the work is done by volunteers who give their precious time to make every event a success.

You can call Allan or Matthew to arrange for the money to be paid to the club.
